What we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.
Short, direct, and free of legal theater. If something on this page is unclear, write to us and we will answer in plain language.
Who we are
ICT Design Partners is a small, RCDD-led ICT design, QA, and project-management practice. We operate as a purely remote firm and engage clients across the United States and internationally. References to “we,” “us,” and “the practice” on this page mean ICT Design Partners.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to this website and from clients and partner firms engaging us for design, review, or project-management work. It does not cover information you share with third‑party platforms (SharePoint, BIM 360, Procore, your own file system) that you nominate for project delivery — that data is governed by the platform owner’s terms and your own organization’s policies.
What we collect
- Inquiry form data
- Name, company, email, phone (optional), role, project type, location, timeline, and the message you send through the contact form. Submitted only when you press send.
- Engagement records
- Once we are working together: signed agreements, drawing-set revisions, RFI logs, submittal logs, change orders, meeting notes, and correspondence necessary to deliver the work and stand behind it.
- Server logs
- Standard request logs from the hosting provider (IP address, user-agent, timestamp, requested path). Used for security and operations; not used to build a marketing profile of you.
What we do not do
- No advertising trackers
- We do not run third-party advertising pixels, behavioral-ad cookies, or cross-site retargeting on this site.
- No selling of data
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Ever.
- No marketing-automation profiling
- Inquiries go to a human inbox. They are not piped into an automated nurture sequence.
Why we use it
- To respond
- To return your inquiry within one business day with either a clear next step or a referral if we are not the right fit.
- To deliver the work
- To produce drawings, specifications, BOMs, and reviews under the agreed scope, and to coordinate with your team and other trades.
- To stand behind the work
- Our documentation practice — consistent with BICSI and TIA norms — and our own QA discipline require us to retain a defensible record of who designed what, when, and against which standard.
How long we keep it
Inquiry messages from prospects who do not engage us are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Engagement records (drawings, specifications, RFI/submittal logs, signed agreements) are retained for the period required by applicable statutes of limitation and our documentation practice, consistent with BICSI norms — typically ten years from project closeout, longer where a specific contract requires it. Server logs are rotated on the hosting provider’s standard schedule.
Who else sees it
- Cloud-platform owners
- When you nominate SharePoint, BIM 360, Procore, or another platform for file exchange, the platform’s operator processes that data under its own terms.
- Project counterparties
- General contractors, A/E partners, AHJ reviewers, manufacturers, and other parties who legitimately need a drawing, RFI response, or submittal to do their job.
- Our legal counsel
- Where a claim, audit, or dispute makes disclosure necessary.
- Nobody else
- No data brokers. No marketing partners. No “strategic AI partners.”
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or US state privacy statutes. We honor those rights regardless of jurisdiction; if a specific statute imposes a stricter standard, that standard applies.
To make a request, email us at hello@ictdesignpartners.com. We respond within thirty days.
Security
Drawing sets, BOMs, and engagement records sit on cloud platforms with mainstream encryption-at-rest and access controls. Where you nominate the platform, your controls govern. Access to our internal records is restricted to the principal and contracted reviewers under written confidentiality terms.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the practice changes how it handles information. The note below tracks the most recent revision. Material changes that affect existing clients are communicated directly, not buried in a policy update.
Questions, access requests, or deletion requests go to the principal directly at hello@ictdesignpartners.com. There is no privacy desk between you and the work.
